Mr X

JMR2

At the risk of labouring a recent theme, I draw your attention to a broadcast from earlier today. BBC Radio 4 offer a documentary about Fitzrovian fixture Julian Maclaren-Ross, because apparently everyone wants to talk about Julian Maclaren-Ross now. It’s entitled “Mr X”, after the character of X. Trapnel in A Dance to the Music of Time by the writer’s friend and supporter, Anthony Powell. It doesn’t get going for a minute or so (just in case you were wondering what Maclaren-Ross had to do with Libya) and it will only be available online for another week. Listen here.
